A FAMILY-OWNED & OPERATED
COLORADO AUTO BODY SHOP
Our Story
Same Family. Same Values. Since 1983.
At Hampden Auto Body, we believe that everything starts with family. Since our opening in April 1983, we have remained family-owned and operated, upholding our commitment to quality repairs.
As an A+ accredited business with the Better Business Bureau and a manufacturer-certified auto body shop, we approach every repair with care and precision, prioritizing your safety. We use OEM parts and follow proper repair procedures because we treat every vehicle as if it were our own.
Over the years, we have grown to become one of Colorado's most trusted auto body shop for collision and hail repair. We have invested in advanced technology, expanded our manufacturer certifications, and prioritized ongoing training for our team. We have been recognized as Shop of the Month by the Assured Performance Network and featured in several notable publications. Additionally, we have received the Best of the Best Auto Body Shop title from Colorado Community Media every year since 2010.
Ultimately, our core belief remains unchanged: your vehicle deserves the best repairs every time. By choosing Hampden Auto Body, you are selecting a legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and care that has defined us since 1983. We take pride in our expertise and are committed to ensuring your vehicle's safety. We are honored to serve every customer who walks through our doors.

INDUSTRY-LEADING INNOVATION & TRAINING
Great repairs start with great training — and Hampden Auto Body has been committed to both for over three decades. We've been an I-CAR Gold Class member since 1993, holding the industry's highest standard for collision repair training and technical excellence.
In 2017, we expanded our facility, upgraded our equipment, and installed new Garmat paint booths for precision finishes. Our shop features Car-O-Liner frame measuring systems, advanced welders, and diagnostic tools, ensuring every vehicle is restored to factory specifications.
We maintain a dedicated, contamination-free Aluminum Certified workspace with tools and welding technology designed exclusively for aluminum repair. We complete ADAS calibrations as part of repairs and are capable of repairing high-voltage EVs. Always staying at the forefront of automotive technology.
Our technicians are dedicated to ongoing education, bringing decades of experience to every repair. We uphold the highest ethical standards, with a focus on your right to a safe, proper repair. With our commitment to training and technology, you can trust that your vehicle—and your safety—are in capable hands.

Committed to Sustainability: Green & Lean
The collision repair industry has changed a lot in the last 40 years, and when it comes to environmental stewardship, Hampden Auto Body is on the leading edge. As we like to say: "We Are Green & Lean." This motto speaks to our commitment to lean business practices that reduce waste and environmental impact. We know the work is never done when it comes to going green, but we're proud to be taking swift steps in the right direction.
Here's how we're leading Denver's auto body industry toward a greener future:
- We source the majority of our parts and supplies through local businesses to help reduce our carbon footprint.
- We recycle sheet metal, headlamps, bumpers, paper, plastic, cardboard, aluminum, and virtually every other material used in repairing your vehicle.
- We properly dispose of tires.
- We utilize used, aftermarket, and remanufactured parts upon request and availability.
- Our technicians are trained to use environmentally conscious materials, including waterborne automotive paints — less toxic, lower in VOC emissions, and better for air quality.
- We recycle paint materials and solvents using a solvent minimizer, keeping costly hazardous waste out of the environment.
- We operate with paperless office procedures, scanning all documents and backing up data off-site to eliminate the need for most printing.
- We've installed LED lighting throughout our entire facility.
